Surveillance System
Access Security Corporation develops the turnkey
security solutions necessary to protect your company
and facilities. We offer Closed Circuit Television
(CCTV) surveillance systems that are designed
to meet two objectives: monitoring and documenting
events. CCTV security cameras and IP cameras provide
fixed, or Pan Tilt Zoom functionality as well
as automatic monitoring capabilities. The network
and digital video surveillance recorders document
movements or activity by storing the video on
hard drives.
Video Input: CCTV
Security Cameras
The CCTV surveillance systems implemented by Access
Security Corporation utilize high quality cameras,
recorders, and other equipment by Panasonic, Bosch,
and Pelco. These systems utilize cameras that
are strategically placed in both interior and
exterior locations. Access Security assesses the
needs of the client, the size of the facility,
its exit and entrance points, high-traffic or
information-sensitive areas, and more. When choosing
the type of security camera as well as its angle
and location, it is important to choose a company
with incomparable experience. Access Security
Corp has over ten years of CCTV system implementation
and configuration.
CCTV Security Video Processing: Matrix
Switcher and Video Multiplexer
The visual data captured by the security cameras
in a larger system is processed in the Video Matrix
Switching System which is located in the central
control area. The matrix switcher is outfitted
with a number of keyboard (joystick) controllers
that can select any camera in the system, control
the movement of a security camera, and select
the monitor the camera appears on. The video multiplexer
allows the client to display multiple cameras
on a single screen, often times called multi-screen
display. Access Security often designs surveillance
systems where visual data is fed first into a
series of sixteen-channel multiplexers for the
multi-screen display and then looped through the
matrix switcher for better system control over
a large numbers of cameras.
Security Video Output: Monitors and Digital
Video Recorders
The digital video recorder or DVR captures all
data that is looped through the matrix switcher.
The DVR many times is connected to a local monitor
for programming of local review of archived video.
The Digital video recorders (DVR) can be set up
to record in a variety of methods. The DVRs
typically record video when motion is detected
and will record up to 60 seconds of pre-motion,
the motion itself, and up to 60 seconds of post-alarm
motion. DVR can also be set up to record continuous
video although this tends to require large amounts
of hard drive storage.
The IP
Video Security Solution and Network
Video Recorders
The IP video solution is essentially an Ethernet
based system as opposed to the standard coaxial
wiring. These system are typically dedicated due
to the high bandwidth requirements but can be
installed on existing infrastructure. IP cameras
come both fixed and moveable and are easily configured
through software. Furthermore, IP cameras can
be easily decoded at multiple locations with either
hardware or software which gives added flexibility
when designing a surveillance system. The IP security
solution therefore eliminates the need for a central
security hub. Access Securitys purpose in
offering the IP solution is to offer clients more
flexibility for their needs.
Access Security Corporation is based in Philadelphias
metropolitan area and implements full security
solutions for companies who recognize the importance
of safeguarding and monitoring their facilities.
